Permutis brings together people who want to swap goods and services. With relevant offers, flexible ways to swap and additional platform services as its business model.
25 languages. Local value. Global perspective.

THE CHALLENGE
An object is no longer used. A skill could help someone else. Meanwhile, something is missing that another person can offer. For a swap to happen, the offer, the wish, distance and trust need to align.
THE PRODUCT
Photos, condition and a description make clear what someone is offering to swap.
Categories, location and interests help people select relevant possibilities from the available offers.
Both sides review the offers and arrange the handover together.
ILLUSTRATIVE SWAP
A camera is offered in exchange for a bicycle. Both sides see the condition and description and arrange the handover.
A graphic design offer can also meet a suitable goods offer. Depending on the plan, several offers can be combined into one swap proposal.
FEATURES AND VALUE
THE BUSINESS MODEL
The swap itself involves no money payment between participants. Permutis combines a free starting point with additional services for people who want to use the platform more intensively.
More options and convenience for active users: for example, more open offers, advanced filters and multiple-item swaps depending on the plan. Plus from €4.99/month or €49/year – see the plans page for details.

PRODUCT STATUS
The next measure is regular use: relevant offers, completed swaps and people who return.
The product opens directly in a browser.
Open the web applicationOffers and item details make the swapping process tangible.
Discover offersThe app is available through its official Google Play listing.
Open the official Play listingThe product includes 24 EU languages and Arabic. Language access does not yet constitute an active local market.
GROWTH
An additional language creates access. An active local market creates value. Selected regions should first bring together enough relevant offers and active participants. Successful processes can then be transferred elsewhere.
Regional testers, relevant offers and repeated swaps.
Communities, referrals and partnerships; guide advertising by measurable results.
Choose regions based on demand, retention and sustainable costs.
The hypothesis: more relevant offers can improve the chances of a swap. Successful swaps can generate new offers and referrals. This network effect still needs to prove itself in actual use.
GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE
24 EU languages and Arabic provide language access beyond Europe. Active markets need relevant local offers, trust and regular use.
Potential market areas · not markets already established
A language-based expansion hypothesis, not a promise of worldwide store, payment or identity services. Many local swapping networks can grow internationally without sending goods between continents.
MODEL CALCULATION · NOT ACTUAL USER NUMBERS
Three scenarios show possible developments with different levels of reach and demand. The numbers are planning assumptions, not measured traction or a guaranteed forecast.
Several functioning regional communities and repeatable user acquisition. Even this middle planning variant requires very strong growth; it is not a statistical expected value.

A registration means a newly created account, adjusted for test, bot and identifiable duplicate accounts. It is neither a monthly active person nor a paying customer. Only additional registrations from October 2026 are counted; an unverified starting account total is not included.
Cumulative means the sum up to the end of the year. Accounts later deleted or inactive remain historical registrations. The sum is not the current number of accounts. Year 1 runs from October 2026 to September 2027, with subsequent years following on.
Weak: little organic spread, low regional offer density and declining new registrations. Not a guaranteed minimum: stagnation, no new registrations or the project ending are also possible.
Several functioning regional communities and repeatable user acquisition. Even this middle planning variant requires very strong growth; it is not a statistical expected value.
Breakthrough: strong referrals, relevant partnerships and successful expansion into several markets. An ambitious success scenario, not a likely commitment.
For illustration, 10% of qualified visits by interested people who are not yet registered lead to a new account. This is not a measured Permutis conversion rate or an industry benchmark.
Visits per year = new registrations ÷ registration rate. Visits per month = annual requirement ÷ 12.
The slider changes only the required visits, not the registration targets.
| Oct 2026 – Sep 2027 | approx. 15,000 |
|---|---|
| Oct 2027 – Sep 2028 | approx. 60,000 |
| Oct 2028 – Sep 2029 | approx. 180,000 |
| Oct 2029 – Sep 2030 | approx. 420,000 |
| Oct 2030 – Sep 2031 | approx. 900,000 |
At 10%, Base requires around 15,000 qualified visits per month in year 1 and 900,000 in year 5. Breakthrough requires around 4 million per month in year 5.
At 5%, the requirement doubles; at 15%, it falls to two thirds. The calculation shows requirements but does not prove they can be achieved.
Advertising should be paid for from cash flow actually available. The existing 30% cost allowance includes advertising and other costs, including payment fees; it is not entirely available as an advertising budget. Depending on the model year, the Base plan assumes 65–75% of registrations come organically, through referrals or partnerships. This too remains unproven.
Later measurements must be compared with these requirements: qualified visits, registration rate, first offers, completed swaps, return visits and cost per acquired user. Activity and paying customers require separate, evidenced rates.
ILLUSTRATIVE CALCULATION · NOT ACTUAL REVENUE
The registration scenarios are combined with adjustable subscription assumptions. The results are illustrative platform revenue, not measured revenue or guaranteed forecasts.
Starting values: 5% subscription conversion, €7 net per subscription month and 5% monthly cancellations. These are not measured rates or a new plan. The inputs change only this revenue calculation.
Please enter valid values: rates from 0 to 100%, monthly revenue from €0 to €1,000. Until then, the table shows the last valid assumptions.
Applied assumptions: 5% new subscriptions · €7 net/month · 5% cancellations/month
Net platform revenue excluding VAT, before payment fees and operating costs. Not profit, not cash flow and not income from swaps between users.

The model starts in October 2026 with no existing subscriptions. New registrations are spread evenly across twelve months; the entered proportion starts a subscription in the month of registration. Later conversions and reactivations are not included.
New subscriptions per month = new registrations per year ÷ 12 × subscription conversion rate. Remaining subscriptions = subscriptions at the start of the month × (1 − cancellation rate). Subscriptions at month-end = remaining subscriptions + new subscriptions.
Monthly revenue uses the average of subscriptions at the start and end of the month. New and cancelled subscriptions therefore contribute approximately half a month. Remaining subscriptions carry over to the following month and year.
Average net monthly revenue should account for the mix of plans, annual discounts, VAT and refunds. Annual subscriptions are allocated across their service months. The monthly cancellation rate is a simplified assumption for the entire subscription base; annual renewals are not simulated separately.
One-time Founder memberships, credits and other revenue are not included. Annual totals are rounded to whole euros; cumulative revenue is the sum of those annual figures. Costs are not deducted.
